Fantastic environment with amazing staff. My daughter left Ann's Wombles 3 years ago to start school, she had an amazing time and was well looked after by the staff, they gave her great tools for starting school. My 2nd child has been going now for the past 7 months and has come on leaps and bounds with them. They do so many different activities with the children and my son always has a smile on his face and looks forward to going. He often speaks of the staff at home when doing activities similar to those at the nursery. 

A home from home, safe learning place. Home away from home. Highly recommend! My son started with Ann's Wombles in April 2019 when he was 23 months. The staff made sure he settled in well and felt comfortable to explore and be his adventurous self. He very quickly settled and looked forward to going into nursery. The facilities are great with the most amazing feature being the huge garden. So much to play and learn with. Lots of lovely role play areas, plenty of books & craft activities as well. The communication book is brilliant. As Daddy or Nanny collect him from nursery it allows me to see what he’s been up to and what he's eaten etc. The staff are all lovely; each child has a key worker, but all staff have a great relationship with the children. You can speak to any of the staff when you drop off or collect your child about any concerns you may have, and all are happy to help.

Outstanding nursery, I’d like to thank All the team at Ann’s Wombles Nursery, especially Sarah and Steph for their time and support for me and my little boy. He was welcomed from day 1 until he was old enough to transition to reception. At the start he was quite a shy boy, though their help and support allowed him to grow out of his shell and into a happy chap. They constantly worked with him to develop all the key areas to be ready for school. They also gave regular reviews and showed me how I could help him too. He is now set up for school and is excelling compared to his classmates. Thanks again.

“In the early 1980’s my mum took me to “Ann’s Wombles” where I thoroughly enjoyed my pre-school years. I especially remember playing in the large garden at the back of the house. There were always different activities to keep me interested like painting, video time and story time. Now I take my son to the nursery and he is very happy and settled there. Every evening when I pick him up he has a colouring, drawing or painting to take home which he’s done at nursery that day. He enjoys playing on the trampoline and in the sandpit and the homely environment suits him very well.”

I walk my son here everyday (just under two miles) as i think it is the best nursery within a five mile radius. I did look at closer ones but they were not what I was looking for. All the children are happy they have a lot of room to play - inside and out, the staff are amazing they have helped my little one out a lot - his speech has improved dramatically, his people skills are also improving and they are also helping to potty train him. My son has a freshly made meal every day which are always varied and are not just chosen from a few easy fixes! The nursery is extremely secure with 6ft fences all around and a parent finger print system to allow parents in to collect there children. There are always different activities going on which all children thoroughly enjoy in turn. I can honestly say Ann wombles is an amazing place for childcare; all the staff are friendly, I receive updates on my child's progress, he gets on well with children and staff and he genuinely just enjoys his time here. Isn't that what a nursery is all about ?

I have recently enrolled my two and a half year old son into Anns Wombles Nursery. I couldn't be happier with the service they provide, its the personal touches and one to one care. My son struggled with anxiety when being left at nursery he would breakdown in tears and cling to me. However now he walks into nursery without tears, he feels safe and secure there. The team worked with him to reassure and settle George, they gave me the confidence to leave him at nursery knowing he was happy. The homely environment has really contributed to enabling George to settle so quickly. He is going from strength to strength there, I see from his communication book what he has eaten, what activities he has participated in and when what nappy changes he has had throughout the day. It's nice knowing all of what your child has been doing throughout their day at nursery. I would highly recommend can't rate them highly enough. Thank you!!

So much love for this amazing nursery, as a working family we have found ourselves in a situation where our daughter is probably with Ann and her wonderful staff more than she is at home! I commend them for the way they educate and care for our bright and feisty little 2 and half year old! Her development is continually being assessed and communication is great! Since moving to Ann’s Wombles from a previous nursery in the area, Lyra’s progression and growth has been truly amazing to see! Extremely reasonable in cost which is a huge help but has no bearing on the care and service provided! Thank you!

My daughter attended this nursery until August 2011 when she went to school and my boy goes here since April 2013. We had the option of placing him in the nursery at our daughter’s school but we could not imagine taking him anywhere else then here, at Ann’s Wombles, even if this means one more trip for us every morning at rush hour and every afternoon. The staff is amazing, the level of care and dedication is peerless and did not diminish over time. We could not be happier, thank you all.

I have put my daughter in many play schools this is buy fair the most suitable for her. She lives her key works and all her friends, I love her being here.

My son absolutely loves going to this nursery and all the staff members. They are very friendly and helpful. They treat children with respect and my son has learnt / developed a lot since going to Ann's wombels. I'm very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to family and friends.

Lovely homely environment , both of my children did really well here, great learning and development achieved in preparation for school, friendly staff, feels like my son’s second home, fully recommend.
