Our History

The Nursery first opened it’s doors in 1967 in Portsmouth, Iater moving to Hart Plain Avenue in Cowplain in 1970 with another move in 1977 to it’s present location.

“In the early 1980’s my mum took me to “Ann’s Wombles” where I thoroughly enjoyed my pre-school years. I especially remember playing in the large garden at the back of the house. There were always different activities to keep me interested like painting, video time and story time.

Now I take my son to the nursery and he is very happy and settled there. Every evening when I pick him up he has a colouring, drawing or painting to take home which he’s done at nursery that day. He enjoys playing on the trampoline and in the sandpit and the homely environment suits him very well.”
